Planning BODY MOJO has been driven by a strong set of values combined with a couple of personal experiences that have made a lasting impact on my life. Community, elemental wisdom, self-love and compassion are the key drivers. So is my desire to help women connect to the best version of themselves. I know too well the power of that outcome which will carry to a wider world.
A couple of years ago, during the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, I enrolled in an online course called NOW, NOW School. Advertised as a “human school for all souls,” the name alone drew me in, craving an escape from the monotony of lockdown. Each day, around 100 of us gathered on Zoom at 12 noon EST, led by a dynamic trio of women who shared their insights, studies, and passions through storytelling, poetry, art, and concise lectures. The sense of community, the spirit of sharing, and the personal growth that unfolded were truly nourishing to my soul during those challenging times. I vividly recall the intricate details of those beautiful hours and the incredible individuals who led, participated, and made it one of the most cherished learning experiences I have ever had the privilege of being part of.
Throughout the entire course, the wisdom of the elements was interwoven into each lesson. Air, fire, water, and earth were skillfully integrated into various topics, providing us with a grounding force to rally behind. It was during this course that I developed an intense fascination with elemental wisdom and discovered its profound importance in our lives.
Combining these elemental wisdoms into the BODY MOJO retreat creates a harmonious tapestry of experiences. By actively engaging with the air, fire, water, and earth, participants can deepen their connection to the natural world, while simultaneously exploring their inner landscape.
